A Weekend Visit With Cousin Udo

We spent the weekend with my German Cousin Udo and Francisca his girlfriend at their home in Oppenland near Stuttgart. We spent a lot of time at their home in the country - a converted farm house and barn - on about 10 acres outside a small german village called Gschwend. During our time together - along with lots of conversation at the dinner table and by the firerplace - we visited a hunting castle turned palace in Ludwigsburg, spent many hours at the Mercedes-Benz museum, ate local cuisine at a festival in downtown Stuttgart, and hiked in the woods near his home. Thanks Udo and Francisca for a great weekend!
